Materials & Care

  • I think my boots are to small?

You can check the size of your boots by taking out the footbed and stand up straight upon it. If your toes are over the size in the front, your boots are to small. Always make sure to tie your boots the correct way. We can teach you this in our shop.

  • When do I need to sharpen my blades?

The sharpening of the blade depends on the frequenty and intensity of the training. A moderate skater needs their blade  to be sharpend every 8-10 weeks. A professional skater wants their blades sharpend every 4-6 weeks.

  • How do I have to clean my skates?

The boots want some air when you get home from a training. So don't let them sit in your car or a hot place. The boot will change it's shape. Blades like to be dried with a soft blade towel and then tucked away in a soft protection piece like a blade buddy. If you need to walk with your skates you best use a blade guard to protect your blades from any materials lying on the ground.
